Sex and Death in the 21st Century (October 27th)
We performed with the Berkeley-based “tribal trance-rock” band Pandemonaeon for their Samhain (Halloween) ritual. Providing a 15-minute set of fire dancing, fire breathing, and flaming mystical designs on pavement, we were “Priests and Priestesses of Prometheus.” (Pictures available in our Photo Gallery.)
Benefit Show (October 5th)
At a benefit party for a member of the local community who’s fallen on hard times, Mythic Fire teamed up with a few members of Incension for a forty-five-minute jam session of fire.
Autumn Equinox ritual (September 22nd)
We added fire to a private Autumnal Equinox ritual held on the beach in Pacifica, then did a non-mystical performance during the party after the ritual.
Psycho-Synthesis (July and August)
We had a two-month stint doing regular weekly performances at Psycho-Synthesis, a Wednesday night event at Jezebel’s Joint.

We worked a private party in Oakland, wowing the crowd and impressing the guest of honor.
Eye Candy (July 28th)
Mythic Fire was out in force at the most recent Eye Candy at Jezebel’s Joint, with a two-set performance that featured dual simultaneous work by Don and Kai.
Mechanical Fire Circus (July 22nd)
Two of our members, Don and Anne, performed a single set at the Mechanical Fire Circus, a multi-act circus event at CellSpace.
