Mythic Fire’s Performers

Mythic Fire is a San Francisco-based fire performance troupe, with four members:

Donald Burbano

Don concentrates on poi (which he spins with gusto), plays around with staff on occasion, and both breathes fire and swallows it. He also does sound editing and technical work.

Anne Killpack

Anne spins poi, swings torches, and is playing with body transfers and fire fingers. She designed the Web site and will be building costumes when the costuming budget exists.

Kai MacTane

Kai spins poi, wields a flaming sword and breathes fire, but isn’t interested in swallowing the stuff yet. He also wants to do body transfers, but has too much hair. He keps the server running and burns a lot of practice session CDs.

Chris Nielsen

Currently on hiatus due to schedule constraints, Chris serves as the group’s mentor and inspiration. Chris dances with poi, breathes fire, and also does metal-working.
