These pictures were taken by Kat Doherty, at Mythic Fire’s October 27th performance with Pandemonaeon, a local “tribal trance-rock” band. Pandemonaeon’s performance was part concert, and part Samhain (Halloween) ritual, titled “Sex and Death in the 21st Century”. Mythic Fire provided 15 minutes of incendiary entertainment as “Priests and Priestesses of Prometheus”.
These pictures may be a little blurry in places, because many of them were taken using a long exposure. This gets wonderful trails from the moving fire, but also means that moving people come out looking like they’ve faded part-way out of existence.
